青大豆とわかめごはん、いわしの竜田揚げ、鶏肉とジャガイモの味噌汁

季「節」を「分」ける節分献立です。大豆をごはんと汁物に、主菜のいわしは「やいかがし」という節分の玄関飾りに使う、鰯の丸干しをイメージして生姜を効かせた竜田揚げにしました。ごはんの青大豆には塩味を染み込ませ、食べやすくしています。

"This is a special setsubun menu to mark the division of seasons. Green soybeans are included in both the rice and the soup, and the sardines in the main dish are inspired by the tradition of 'yaikagashi,' where whole dried sardines are used as decorative elements at the entrance during setsubun. The deep-fried sardines are seasoned with ginger, and the green soybeans in the rice are lightly salted to make them more palatable."
