On Monday, April 13th, during the fifth period, the fifth graders practiced asking about favorite sports in their foreign language activity using “Do you like ～?”.

After learning how to say sports such as soccer and basketball in English, the students actively asked their teacher, “Do you like soccer?” and “Do you like tennis?”.

They listened to the teacher’s responses, “Yes, I do.” and “No, I don’t.”, and enjoyed communicating in English.

Through these activities, the students are gradually developing confidence in asking questions and understanding answers in English.

４月１３日（月）５校時、5年生は外国語活動で “Do you like ～？” を使って、先生に好きなスポーツをたずねる学習を行いました。  

子どもたちは、サッカーやバスケットボールなどのスポーツ名を英語で言う練習をしたあと、先生に向かって “Do you like soccer?” “Do you like tennis?” と積極的に質問していました。

先生の “Yes, I do.” “No, I don’t.” という答えを聞きながら、楽しそうにコミュニケーションをとる姿が見られました。

英語で質問したり返答を聞き取ったりする力が、少しずつ育ってきています。
