Grade 3: Learning to Think and Communicate in English

In the third grade, students took part in an English lesson.
While looking at the slides displayed on a large monitor, the children eagerly raised their hands in response to the question, “What is this?” and tried to share their ideas in English.
By listening carefully to their friends and actively joining the lesson, the students showed that they were enjoying communicating in English.
By using ICT devices, the lesson became easier to understand visually, helping students stay motivated and engaged.
We will continue to value learning experiences that allow third-grade students to feel, “I understand!” and “I want to express myself!”

３年生が英語の学習に取り組みました。
大きなモニターに映し出されたスライドを見ながら、「What is this？」という問いかけに、子ども達はすすんで手を挙げ、自分の考えを英語で伝えようとしていました。
友達の意見をよく聞き、積極的に学習に参加する姿から、英語でのコミュニケーションを楽しんでいる様子が伝わってきました。
ICT機器を活用することで、視覚的に分かりやすい授業となり、子どもたちの意欲や集中力も高まりました。
今後も、「わかった！」「伝えたい！」と感じられる学びを大切にしながら、３年生の英語学習を進めていきます。
